Title: If I Buy a Domain from GoDaddy, Will the Seller Know It Was Me?
If a competitor has a domain listed for sale—perhaps by mistake as they announce a new website launch in the near future—could purchasing that domain reveal my ownership to them? If I buy the domain (and similar ones), is there any way they could find out it was me?
Context: I’d prefer not to be rivals in the first place, but they’ve chosen to respond with harsh and undeserved hostility toward me and my business.
